Welcome!

I am very excited about creating my first blog! Not an easy task, by the way. I have created this blog to share my work with the literary community. I am eagerly awaiting the publishing date of my first poetry book titled, "After the Rain" and will post the active link for the book as soon as I recieve it.

Someone asked me today, why I would title the blog, SKYDIVING... and after a few silent seconds of... "are you serious?" in my mind, I realized that not everyone will associate the physical act of skydiving with the freedom of mind it provides. I also loved to sky dive, the view is just amazing and different with every jump.

In my own muse, it represents everything that has to do with the freedom of art and writing. Every decade since the beginning of time, writers in their maverick muse sought to break down the boundaries and the barriers of a previous structure for the sake of freedom. And with it, they created new canons of literature, a fresh way of looking at the world around them.

Writers are creative risk takers. Everyday, they brave the skies, jumping into the storms of sensuality, commonality and chance. Because of this, I write with the habit of freedom, it is my spirit and it is my soul.
