Harvest Moon
harvest moon charming
October's midnight sky
nestled in loom as
she unfolds her silence in nigh;
bless'd in bloom with amber
shades of fallen leaves
as they rest past noon
on the shingled crestless eaves
harvest moon blushing
her sway with a gentle breeze
casting away but not too soon
the frequent fall of summer's leaves
upon Diana's golden breasts
transpire her unforgiving spell
of the hazy arrays of harvest and
the comforting presence beauty compels
in the sky she roams
through hues of bronzy auburn light
embedded for centuries flown
her tapestry again
illumines its romantic flight!
